I've been hacking away with a machete all day. Apparently my form could use some work too, because I have a blister on my left hand from it. I'm also really sore from my treks through the woods, but Advil has done wonders for that.

As I mentioned yesterday, "The Kite Runner" is a great book. I love when books get me fired up to go read up on concepts and settings contained within.

I spent a good hour last night reading Wikipedia entries on things like Kabul, Pashtuns, Hazara, naan and the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

Hahaha, in finding links for the above paragraph, I ended up wandering Wikipedia for about half an hour.

Anyway, where was I... oh, Kite Runner! I highly recommend it. I'm going to see if I can find A Thousand Splendid Suns at the library when I get home.

Aw damn... Apparently the hot water dispenser I ordered might not be delivered until the middle of October!
