And here's the third and final Haruhi movie in my little series I've been doing.
This one requires a little explanation. In the 12th episode of the show, the Computer Research Society (another school club, which has its reasons to bear a grudge against Haruhi and her SOS Brigade) challenges the club a real-time strategy game that they made themselves, called "Day of Sagittarius III." The whole episode is them playing each other in the game, but it gets presented through their imaginations as if it's real. The clips for this movie are from that episode, and that previously-animated gif I had is from that episode. This movie is a Japanese-made anime music video, presented as if it was the intro to a (fictional) anime series about the same characters in space; the song is from the Haruhi Suzumiya soundtrack, sung by Yuki Nagato (the character with the purple hair). I think the song is really catchy, and I really liked the episode the clips are from for reasons that are probably obvious:
I'm back home from Charlotte. It's nice to be home, and I'm really looking forward to seeing Terry and Liz tomorrow. My new desk is in fact smaller, but I do have a great view out of a window so I'm really pumped about that. One downside of being gone and having turned the heat down is that it seems to take a while for the temperature to be stable and consistent throughout my apartment.
